Want to Collab?

👉 Are you an industry expert with a fresh insight or perspective on how to grow a B2B business in 2025?

I’d love to collaborate with you! Jump to the section to learn more:

My core content pillar

B2B buying has really changed in the last couple of years, especially for expert-led professional services (accounting, law, IT, marketing, etc.).

In 2025, 84% of B2B contracts are awarded to the first vendor the buyer talks to.

Which means, if you’re not already your buyer’s favorite by the time they reach out, you’re way behind.

So how can B2B service providers, consultants, and fractional executives become their buyer’s top choice without a conversation?

The obvious answer is through the buyer’s trusted advisors.

That’s why I teach my audience professional networking & referral building strategies, because those soft skills are a critical skill if you want to be successful at business development in 2025.

My audience and ideal collab partners

My audience are small to medium B2B professional service providers, consultants, and fractionals who are looking to grow their business.

👉 And, I am looking to collaborate with experts and thought leaders in other B2B specialties (marketing, sales, operations, executive leadership, etc.) who are want to share their insights with my audience.

If that’s you, let’s collab!

👉 Here are some key stats about my newsletter:

  • Average open rate: 50-60%

  • Average view rate: 110-130%

  • Average click-through rate: 12-15%

(Easy) Cross-promote our newsletters

This is an easy way for us to collaborate and bring value to our readers.

  • Recommend each other - If your newsletter is on Substack, let’s use the built-in recommendations to feature each other. It’s a no-brainer!

  • Feature each other - Featuring each other’s newsletter in an article is my favorite way to promote, because we showcase each other to our subscribers and give our readers a sample of our best work, see a past example on Substack along with the CTRs:

This is why I like to showcase samples of our best work, especially if you’re good at writing hooks. Showing 3 posts means you have more opportunities to hook them.

My Newsletter Snippet (Copy-n-Paste)

Here’s the snippet you copy-and-paste for featuring my newsletter âŹ‡ïž

📌 My friend, John Way, is a LinkedIn Top Voice on Business Networking and regularly shares bite-sized, actionable tips for B2B service providers and fractionals on how to grow their business through networking & referrals. Each edition takes only 60s to read and includes an audio voice-over, so you can listen on the go. Click here to subscribe »

Here are my top 3 favorite posts of his:

  1. Be memorable with ONLY your business card »

  2. Here's how to OBJECTIVELY get better at networking »

  3. A networking secret 95% of people overlook »

👉 Interested? Just DM me your details: a 1-2 sentence description of your newsletter and links to your top 3-5 posts.

Note, I post 2x a month, so your promo will happen in the next open slot for your vertical, because I want to feature experts from different verticals. I only feature one expert per quarter for a particular vertical, so claim your spot as early as you can.

To maintain your recommendation:

📌 You must have an active newsletter (posted within the last 3 months).

Otherwise, it’d be a disservice to recommend my readers to something that’s no longer maintained. If your newsletters becomes inactive, your recommendation will be removed.

(Easy) Cross-promote our events

Another easy way for us to collaborate is to cross-promote our events.

  • Reshare on social - Leverage these social platforms and reshare each other’s posts about our event on Substack or LinkedIn.

  • Promote in our newsletters - If there’s an audience fit, mention each other’s events in our newsletters, because it’d be a value-add for our audiences.

  • Feature in LinkedIn - Be included in B2BSalesMagic’s monthly post about upcoming B2B events, see past example: The average CTR is 15%.

👉 Just DM me your event details: a 1-2 sentence description of your event and where people can register to attend.

Note, I only promote 1 event per month in my newsletter, and I host events of my own, so let me know your event date ASAP so we can coordinate dates.
