Can someone else easily steal your elevator pitch?
Or is it uniquely about you?
Hello friends!
Getting ready for this year’s fall conference and networking season?

Elevator pitch - 😰
You know the question that people are going to ask: “What do you do?”
You don’t like it. I don’t like it, either.
But, you still need an answer.
And, does your answer make a compelling case that YOU are the expert they need to follow up with?
Not sure? Try this simple exercise:
👉 Swap your name in your elevator pitch with a competitor's name, ex: “Contact me” → “Contact [Competitor]”.If it makes just as much sense with your competitor's name replacing of yours, your elevator pitch needs a rewrite.
Here's how:
Do you have a unique background or industry expertise?
Do you have a unique process for delivering your services?
Do you have a unique way of supporting your customers?
Then, include the answer in your elevator pitch, because talking about your uniqueness is how you become memorable.
Think better in a live setting?
